Honeymooning
Same and Katherine were on their honeymoon when the actor got a huge call from his agent. Casting directors were putting together a new film called Mask, and the main actress was going to be Cher. They wanted Elliot to play her leading co-star, who would be her love interest in the movie. This was a huge opportunity for the actor, but he was already on his honeymoon when the auditioning process was meant to begin.

At first, Elliot told his agent that he was on his honeymoon, and therefore unable to make it to the auditions. Luckily, his new wife was a heck of a lot smarter than he was at the time, and told him that he had to go back for these auditions. If he didn’t, he might always regret it! Later on, it would become clear that Katherine’s decision was critical in putting Elliot’s name into a list of mainstream actors in Hollywood.
