Changing His Path
Surprisingly enough, Sam didn’t have any interest in the careers that his parents had. In fact, at some point or another, Sam started to gain an interest in a career that couldn’t have been more different. Sam had his heart set on being an actor from a young age. His father disagreed with the idea of being an actor, and told Sam that he should instead focus on getting a college education. The rift between father and son started off early in Sam’s life.

Sam always knew that he wasn’t going to follow in his parents’ footsteps. Instead, he wanted to focus on becoming an actor regardless of what they thought. As much as his parents tried to dissuade him, he never changed his mind. As time went on, Sam and his father took part in all kinds of arguments, with Sam’s father never understanding why he wanted to work in Hollywood. The pair didn’t see eye-to-eye, which meant Sam had to be his own inspiration in his first years persuing acting.
