Jacob Miller, Civil War Survivor
For most people, there’s pretty much no surviving a bullet straight to the head, even with modern medicine at our disposal. The chances drop to even lower when you’re talking about the 1800s. Jacob Miller was a soldier in the battle of Chickamauga in 1863 when he was hit with a musket ball between the eyes. He miraculously survived, though he was blinded.
