Amelia Earhart

Amelia Earhart was an aviation pioneer that was notably the first female aviator to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean. While she was on an attempt to become the first woman to finish a circumnavigational flight around the globe in 1936, she disappeared, along with navigator Fred Noonan. A year and six months following their disappearance, she was officially declared dead.

Following the end of the Second World War, consumerism began to rise in the United States. As technology developed, more and more products began to be mass produced, and new inventions were quickly being released. One example was the Aqua Trail houseboat, which was a camping trailer that turned into a houseboat. Only 35 units were made, and now it is they are collector’s items.
