Not only was the movie helpful for Elliot’s career, but it also helped him out with his love life! Up until now, Sam had been so focused on his acting career that he wasn’t at all keeping track of his love life. Some relationships had come and gone, but nothing had lasted. Sam wanted to solidify his career before he worried about finding a partner. He had no idea how this movie would change in life in so many ways.

Ross is Back
Katherine Ross, the woman who had starred in the same show years ago as Elliot, was now back in his life. She was chosen as his co-star for The Legacy, and this was when their on-screen romance began to make its way into real life. At first, the pair wanted to keep things strictly professional. Sam was a rather shy man outside of his acting, and he wasn’t very bold when they started working together.
