Katie immediately began searching for jobs in the commercial construction market. After searching for a few weeks, Katie finally accepted a position with GE Johnson and got back to work. Things were starting to look up for Katie, but something was still missing.

After getting a job with GE Johnson, Katie started working on building her new life, literally. While looking for the perfect house, Katie stumbled across a four-bedroom ‘fixer-upper’ that was in need of some serious work. Thankfully, the house was cheap, so Katie jumped on it. She quickly began to assess the house and determine what would need to be done to make it into a good home for her future family.
