Claudia Cardinale appeared in movies during the 1960’s and 70’s. She starred in movies in English, Italian, and also French. By the 1970’s, she grew tired of the Hollywood scene and she returned to European films only. Since 2000, she has been a UNESCO goodwill ambassador and has been involved with women’s rights.
