Bobbi Gibb was the first woman to run the Boston Marathon back in 1966. She challenged the prejudices against women as that year, women were not part of the marathon, and when she submitted her application, she was told women are not physiologically capable of running a marathon. She finished the marathon in three hours, twenty one minutes, and forty seconds.
