In 2010, Evelyn returned to KCAL-TV in Los Angeles. Here she resumed her roles as a meteorologist during their weekend segments. She also worked for KCAL as a news anchor, editor and directors. She is a multi-talented journalist who seems to be on the go with projects continually. This Florida ray of sunshine graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Telecommunications. After graduation, Shay Ryan moved from Florida to Mississippi to pursue a Master’s degree in Geoscience. Here she would get a gig as a meteorologist covering stories on flooding’s heatwaves and hurricanes. If you do a Google search of Shay Ryan, many of the captions have to do with her ability to predict the forecast accurately.
