As a successful meteorologist and atmospheric scientist, Kate Parker has used her platform on Weather.com, The Weather Channel application, to voice her concerns about climate change and environmental pollution. In 2016, Kait created a mini-documentary called Toxic Lake: The Untold Story of Lake Okeechobee. The documentary exposed Florida’s water management issues. She has worked in Missouri, Alabama, and Florida before being picked up by The Weather Channel. Parker left The Weather Channel in 2016 but continues in her environmental activism efforts.

Bella Gabriela Grechi is a major name amongst many households in Italy. She has appeared in numerous T.V. commercials, sports programs and even talk shows. Her Italian background adds a level of sophistication that is very different from American weather girls. It was not an instant decision to pursue a career as a weather girl; however, it seemed Gabriela was destined to be in front of the camera. Eventually, Gabriela decided to step outside her comfort zone. She would go into broadcasting news and weather.
