Since 2015 Elita has worked for KTRK-TV in Houston. She is currently married to Ryan Nuveman and has two children with him, Ryan Jr and Emery Rylee. As a meteorologist, Elita has covered some of the worst hurricanes to hit the U.S. When she is not on air; she spends her time volunteering for Habitat for Humanity and the National Alliance to Nurture the Aged and the Youth. In 2006, Elita received the title of “America’s Sexist Newscaster” by FHM magazine.

Sugey Abrego
You would never know that Sugey Abrego is a 40-year-old Mexican meteorologist. To add to the resume, Sugey is also a model and actress. She was born in Veracruz, who would then go on to study drama at the Center of Artistic Education. How did someone as beautiful as Sugey get into the weather? Well, it was not her first calling – Sugey started off in various local telenovelas.
