While she was out, Bobby had his entire plan ready to go. He drained his bank account and packed up his things, along with Julian’s. By the time that Julian’s mother came back, all that was left behind was a note. She immediately reported Julian as missing on August 28th, 2002.

Once they left Alabama, you would think that he would drive as far away as possible from their home. However, he moved his son to Cleveland, Ohio, which is actually a 10 hour drive from their home in Alabama. While that’s certainly far, many would expect him to drive much farther. Once they arrived in Cleveland, Bobby changed their identities.
