It’s said that following a fire that happened in her home in 2002, Aretha Franklin put a lot of her clothing into a storage unit. The unit eventually was abandoned and auctioned off. Its new owner, Al Parham, decided to sell the bags, hats, full outfits, and shoes that he found there, many of which were worn by Franklin during performances.
