Limit Baths
Older people should think about how often they bathe because it causes them to lose precious oils and moisture. Though you should take a shower when you need to, make sure you’re only in there for about five or 10 minutes. Pat dry and then apply a moisturizer or lotion.
Use Warm Water to Bathe
While hot water can help you relax, it can also dry out your skin. Therefore, it’s best to use warm water for showers. If you take a bath, combat the warmth with bath oils or apply moisturizer when you’re finished for the best results.
