Making Ends Meet
Most actors in California had to struggle for quite some time before getting any kind of big break. In some cases, they wouldn’t get their big break at all! It’s a tough industry to get into, and Sam knew that. In most cases, actors would work as waiters when they weren’t auditioning or rehearsing for something. It was the easiest job to have when they weren’t acting, since they could easily get or switch shift times. Sam, however, wasn’t that kind of guy.
