Too Much Attention
Thanks to the extremely unlikely scenario surrounding her adoption of Grayson, Hannah, and Jackson, Katie and her family have received a lot of media attention. She hopes to use this attention to promote adoption and help other children get out of the foster system, but she is also worried about the effect that it could have on her children. Since adopting Jackson, she has been very careful not to show his face to the media, always blocking it out with a white heart.
Keeping Them Safe
Katie is worried about what so much attention will do to her family. Not only is the amount of attention that they are getting from the media potentially destructive to the children’s development, but she also knows that increased exposure puts her children at risk from other people. She has begun to take additional precautions and to withdraw from the media to protect the privacy of her family.
