Loretta young had an active acting career from 1917 to 1953. For her role in The Farmer’s Daughter in 1947, she won an Academy Award for Best Actress. She later appeared in TV show The Loretta Young Show, which ran from 1953 through 1961 and won her three Emmy Awards.
