The designer who reached out was Derek Diedricksen, who actually inspired Luke with the design of his house. This was a chance for Luke to speak to one of his idols, and Derek even gave him some advice and words of wisdom. They even follow one another on social media now.

Luke became an inspiration himself, and we don’t need to look too far to see his impact. His brother Cole decided to build a teardrop camper. He also opted for recycled materials and created a YouTube channel of his own. Best of all, he was able to get help from his brother Luke.
