Ricky was surprised by all of these questions and somewhat angry. Why did they need to know this? It caused him to lash out in anger by saying that they could do their job but leave him alone. He instantly regretted his choice.

The police didn’t like his answer because they felt they were asking reasonable questions for the investigation. Therefore, they sent Ricky to the police station. He panicked since he didn’t want to leave his wife at the hospital if she was giving birth.
