She was the daughter of Henry VII and Anne Boleyn, and though she was delegitimized once her parents’ marriage was annulled, she ascended the throne just a few years afterwards. What Queen Elizabeth I Really Looked Like

In 2018, artist Mat Collishaw decided to make a lifelike recreation of what she looked like. Using 3D technology, he was able to created a realistic animatronic mask with moving eyes and mouth. The mask is displayed at the Queen’s House along with the Armada portrait.
