Expedition Unknown traced the history of the “Younger Lady,” who was widely believed to be the remains of Nefertiti. Artist Elisabeth Daynes carefully recreated Nefertiti’s face, working on the piece for over 500 hours. Daynes based the final product on historical images and the remains.
