Though his skull had broken from the pressure from the sediment while it was being excavated, researchers were able to create this 3D rendering of the Lord of Sipan. They reconstructed the 96 fragments of his skull using photogrammetry. The image was recreated by the Brazilian Team of Forensic Anthropology and Forensic Odontology.
