Tsar Bomba
The Tsar Bomba was a thermonuclear aerial bomb that was the most powerful nuclear weapon ever created. The project was overseen by Soviet physicist Andrei Sakharov and was ordered by Nikita Khrushchev in 1961. It was tested in October of that year in Mityushikha Bay.
