It’s a good thing the US government didn’t let the public see this picture because everyone was already paranoid about the thought of nuclear war, and this image would not have helped at all.

FAST, aka Heaven’s Eye
This is called FAST (Five-Hundred-Meter Aperture Spherical Telescope), and it’s found in Pingtang County, Guizhou, southwest China. It’s a radio telescope that detects various radio signals across the galaxy and can go a thousand light years away!
