A Divide in the Canyon
The photo shows the Tatahatso Point at the famous tourist spot, the Grand Canyon. The Grand Canyon, stretching around 277 miles, is around 5 to 6 million years old. The area is populated by many Native Americans. On one side sits a lake tinted a darkish-green color, on the other side the water is painted a deep blue. The green coloring on the left most likely comes from the algae the exits in certain areas of the lake.
Surreal Camels in the Snow
This image shows camels treading through the snow in Cable Beach, Australia. The photo was taken by Todd Kennedy while on a camel tour during his honeymoon. The sun’s rays cast elongated shadows of the camels as they walk, creating almost unrecognizable shapes. It looks like the shadows are being torn away from their host and forcibly sucked into a black hole. The image is simplistic, but amazing to look at. It is truly remarkable.
