Sometimes we encounter situations in which we really wish we had a camera to capture the moment forever. This can be for a happy occasion or just one you want to commemorate for years to come. However, some of the best photos are the ones that are captured at just the right time, whether intentionally or not. These are some of the best and most awkward moments immortalized for good.

Glasses really are one of mankind’s greatest inventions. Poor eyesight fixed by bifocal lenses on our faces? Genius! However, the one drawback is when glasses fall off right when we need them the most. This guy was traversing up a cliff when his glasses came sliding off. There’s really no recovering from that. We hope he made it safely back down!

Baseball: America’s favorite pastime. Our love for baseball is passed on from generation to generation, with baseball-loving parents passing on the proverbial torch (or baseball glove in this case) down to their kids. This parent wanted to commemorate his son’s first baseball experience with a photo, but unfortunately his kid’s aim was a little too good and it ended up right in his face.
