This Pop-Up Bar Is A Lord Of The Rings Fan’s Dream Come True

Every Lord of the Rings fan remembers reading the book series for the first time. They also recall exactly how they feel when they first watched The Fellowship of the Ring in theaters, and how they felt when they finished watching The Return of the King for the first time. Lord of the Rings is just one of those franchises that captures the hearts of fans and never lets go. Just as the Star Wars, Harry Potter, and Star Trek franchises have spurred a legion of devoted fans, Lord of the Rings fans cannot get enough of the series. One bar in Chicago decided to cater to fans directly.

Replay Lincoln Park, a popular bar that hosts themed pop-up bars, announced that their latest pop-up bar would be centered around Lord of the Rings. They have previously hosted pop-up bars that were Parks and Recreation and Harry Potter themed, and this time the bar decided to take fans to the Shire and other locations in the beloved fantasy trilogy. As they’ve dubbed it, it’s “The One Pop-Up to Rule them all.”

So what can fans expect at this themed pop-up? The bar will be decked out in set recreations, including a Hobbit hole. There will be giant constructions of your favorite characters such as Gandalf and Gollum.

When it comes to food and drink, fans will not be disappointed. Fans will be able to enjoy delicious food offerings that include dishes like Lord of the Wings and the One Onion Ring To Rule Them All. Specialty drinks and cocktails will be made but our personal fave is the “My Precious Shot.” This drink is made of dark rum, orange liqueur, and topped with Cajun seasoning.

Entry to the bar is open without any cover charge for all fans who are over 21 years old. We’re definitely planning a trip to Chicago to get a chance to taste the “My Precious Shot” right now!
