What You Need
1/4 cup soy sauce
3 tablespoons honey
2 cloves minced garlic
juice of a lime
1 tablespoons sesame oil, divided
1 teaspoon Sriracha
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 pound boneless skinless chicken breast
salt and pepper, to taste
sesame seeds
sliced green onions
What To Do
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Whisk together the soy sauce, honey, garlic, lime juice, 1 tablespoon of the sesame oil, sriracha, and the cornstarch.
Season your chicken with salt and pepper. Heat the last tablespoon of sesame oil in an oven safe skillet on medium-high heat. Once hot, add the chicken in and sear it until it is golden, which will take about 4 minutes per side. Pour the glaze onto the chicken and then put it in the oven.
Bake the chicken for about 25 minutes, or until it is no longer pink. Heat up the broiler.
Spoon glaze over the chicken until it has caramelized, which will take about 2 minutes in the broiler. Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions, to taste.
Enjoy along with a side of fried rice, broccoli, or anything else you’d like.
